About The Position

Job Title : Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Facility : University of Pennsylvania Health System – Penn Primary Care / Penn Specialty Practices

Unit : PennCare for Kids – Limerick (Primary), Phoenixville (Secondary)

Contract Type : Temp-to-Perm (Candidates must be interested in permanent placement)

Contract Duration : 11 / 3 / 2025 – 2 / 7 / 2026 (14 weeks)

Hours : 40 hrs / week

Shift : Days, schedule varies 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM; includes 1 evening shift (Mon / Tue) per week and 1 Saturday per month (8 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM)

Work Location :

Primary : 420 West Linfield – Trappe Rd, Suite 1000A, Limerick, PA 19468

Secondary : PennCare for Kids – Phoenixville Medical Building 1, Suite 100A, 824 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460

Job Overview :

The CMA will provide patient care support, assist with rooming patients, manage patient calls, schedule appointments, and perform other administrative / clinical responsibilities as assigned.

Sample Week Schedule :

Monday : 10 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM

Tuesday : 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Wednesday : 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Thursday : 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Friday : 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Evening and Saturday shifts rotate as required.

Responsibilities :

Room patients and prepare them for provider visits

Manage patient communications and calls

Book and confirm patient appointments

Assist providers and staff as needed

Maintain patient records accurately in EPIC (preferred)

Requirements :

Minimum 1 year of CMA experience

EPIC experience is a plus

Must be able to commute within 30 minutes of the practice location

Candidate must have their own stethoscope

Must be willing to work scheduled evening and Saturday shifts

In-person interview required at Limerick or Phoenixville
