JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves inspecting, testing, and sampling materials, parts, and products to ensure they conform to all specifications and quality standards. The Quality Inspector works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures and practices to complete tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
• Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to inspect products and materials
• Document inspection results in reports, logs, and quality databases
• Identify and report defects or non-conformities; collaborate with production teams to resolve issues
• Perform audits and inspections of processes and procedures
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety regulations
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and production staff
