Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, compassionate, and experienced Community Support Program Director to lead and manage the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our community-based support services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social services, program development, and team leadership, with a commitment to advancing equity, inclusion, and community well-being.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Leadership Strategy
Develop and oversee the implementation of community support programs that align with the organizations mission and goalsIdentify community needs and design responsive, evidence-based programsLead strategic planning for program growth, impact, and sustainability2. Team Management
Supervise, train, and support program managers, case workers, and other staffFoster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on excellence and empathyConduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities3. Partnerships Community Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, service providers, and stakeholdersRepresent the organization at community events, coalitions, and working groupsPromote awareness and utilization of community support services4. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
Develop metrics to assess program effectiveness and impactMonitor data collection and ensure accurate and timely reportingPrepare reports for funders, board members, and leadership5. Budget and Compliance
Develop and manage program budgets in collaboration with the finance teamEnsure compliance with funder requirements, regulations, and organizational policies.Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts related to community support servicesQualifications
Required :
Master degree in Social WorkClinical social workers (LCSWs), (LICSW)2+ years of experience in community programs, social services, or nonprofit leadershipProven experience in program development, team supervision, and stakeholder engagementStrong knowledge of community-based support systems and trauma-informed careExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively with diverse populationsPreferred :
Experience with grant management and reportingFamiliarity with local, state, and federal social service systems
