Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic, compassionate, and experienced Community Support Program Director to lead and manage the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our community-based support services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social services, program development, and team leadership, with a commitment to advancing equity, inclusion, and community well-being.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Leadership Strategy

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of community support programs that align with the organizations mission and goals
  • Identify community needs and design responsive, evidence-based programs
  • Lead strategic planning for program growth, impact, and sustainability

    • 2. Team Management

  • Supervise, train, and support program managers, case workers, and other staff
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on excellence and empathy
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities

    • 3. Partnerships Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, service providers, and stakeholders
  • Represent the organization at community events, coalitions, and working groups
  • Promote awareness and utilization of community support services

    • 4. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting

  • Develop metrics to assess program effectiveness and impact
  • Monitor data collection and ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Prepare reports for funders, board members, and leadership

    • 5. Budget and Compliance

  • Develop and manage program budgets in collaboration with the finance team
  • Ensure compliance with funder requirements, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts related to community support services

    • Qualifications

    Required :

  • Master degree in Social Work
  • Clinical social workers (LCSWs), (LICSW)
  • 2+ years of experience in community programs, social services, or nonprofit leadership
  • Proven experience in program development, team supervision, and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong knowledge of community-based support systems and trauma-informed care
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations

    • Preferred :

  • Experience with grant management and reporting
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal social service systems
