Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Educator II with a focus on Perioperative Nursing to coordinate the orientation of nursing personnel and enhance our educational programs. This role represents our commitment to community activities and the professional development of our nursing staff.
Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate leadership competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Uphold and model our Administrative and Departmental policies with professionalism, reliability, and confidentiality.
- Design and implement engaging educational activities addressing identified learning needs, applying adult education principles.
- Utilize an effective evaluative system to assess the impact of educational activities.
- Foster collaborative relationships among healthcare professionals and actively participate in relevant committees and meetings to support staff development and enhanced patient care.
- Engage in opportunities that promote professional growth through ongoing education and activities that elevate nursing practice.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Education / Skills :A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
Experience :1 to 3 years of hospital experience is required, preferably in nursing education. A solid understanding of adult learning theory and clinical nursing practices is essential.
Communication Skills :Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Licenses and Certifications :
Current RN License in the state of employment or compact.Must maintain AHA instructor certification in BCLS and ACLS, along with Affiliate Faculty status.Work Schedule :
Your commitment will be 5 days a week, working 8 hours each day.
