Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Lead the advancement of patient care and safety as a Senior Quality Manager specializing in Quality and Compliance within a dynamic mail order specialty pharmacy environment. This direct hire opportunity offers a hybrid work setting with a blend of remote work from anywhere in the Midwest and onsite presence in Kalamazoo as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage the Quality Management Program (QMP) across retail, specialty, infusion, and Treatment Navigation Team operations, ensuring consistent execution and compliance.
- Develop and update policies and standard operating procedures to maintain adherence to URAC, ACHC, CMS, PBM, and other regulatory standards.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), generating comprehensive quality dashboards and reports for leadership review.
- Oversee incident reporting processes and the Good Catch program, ensuring timely documentation and corrective action.
- Conduct root cause investigations, system risk assessments, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Promote a culture of safety by coaching staff on root cause analysis and Just Culture principles, incorporating lessons learned into ongoing training and operations.
- Collaborate with various departments including retail, specialty, infusion, marketing, IT, finance, and billing to align on quality and compliance objectives.
- Serve as QMP administrator and active participant on quality committees; provide regular status updates to executive leadership.
- Support professional development by overseeing pharmacy student and intern rotations and perform pharmacist duties as needed.
Qualifications :
Advanced healthcare degree (PharmD, RPh, RN, or equivalent) with an active Michigan license.Minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare quality leadership, preferably within pharmacy operations or treatment navigation.In-depth knowledge of quality improvement methodologies, risk management, and accreditation standards.Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary initiatives.Preferred certifications include CPHQ, Lean / Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), CLHP, CMQ / OE, and optionally CCEP or CHC.Location :
