Mechanical Drafter I

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks assigned by Mechanical Engineers, Senior Engineers, and the Engineering Manager / Director.
• Assist in producing detailed schematics for HVAC systems based on instructions and pre-established guidelines.
• Assist Mechanical Engineers by participating in job site surveys to gather as-built technical information.
• Draft and develop layouts for mechanical systems based on direction from Mechanical Engineers.
• Convert field surveys into usable formats for plan and project development. Use AutoCAD to develop plans.
• Participate in the company's project improvement process by maintaining / improving CAD Detail Library and CAD Standards.
• Other duties may include copying / printing / scanning, assembly of equipment submittal packages, assistance in preparing work scope, and other tasks as assigned.

Compensation Range : $29 - $34 per hour
