Responsible for the care and treatment of newborn infants suffering from illness or prematurity, as well as caring for their parents and guardians. Provide round-the-clock care for the basic and medical needs of newborn infants in the NICU. Assist the NICU physicians in medical procedures and treatments.

Job Summary As a Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. What You'll Do You, as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes. Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families. Creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving issues. You will help educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly. Registered Nurse Requirements At least five years of RN experience in the NICU Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program- Strongly prefer BSN or higher License / Certification o RN- Registered Nurse o BLS- Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire) o NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (required within 30 days of hire)

• As this is a new unit / hospital, all nurses must be willing to float to all Women's / Children's units until fully staffed.
