Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory / Electrophysiology Technician

Overview :

Sign on Bonus Available up to $7500

Location : Piedmont Fayette Cath Lab

Shift :  Four 10s - no weekends, no holidays (unless called in)

Status : Full Time with Call Requirement

Responsibilities : RESPONSIBLE FOR :

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct / indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Qualifications :

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :

RCIS program graduate or a graduate of program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

1-year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience. No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program.

MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :

Based on healthcare experienced (see above) applicable license required. If a graduate of RCIS program, no license is required, however RCIS must be obtained within 24 months of hire.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

BCLS and ACLS Required
