Senior Programmers

TriTech Enterprise Systems (TriTech) is seeking several Senior Programmers to support a Mayland State contract. The candidates will be working onsite in Annapolis, Maryland. The is a long-term contract. Responsibilities include :

• Providing IT systems, hardware, and software support and maintenance for ROW IT existing systems.
• Performing break fix of identified IT issues.
• Providing support, management, and installation services for desktop and server operating systems.
• Providing maintenance and modifications to the application as directed, including developing new functions and applications.
• Managing software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques and tools.
• Interpreting software requirements to develop design specifications, code, and integrate and test software components.
• Developing requirements for an existing ROW system, including the definition, design, security requirements, programming, and testing stages of development.
• Developing project plans with milestones.
• Developing and executing test plans.
• Deploying, upgrading, configuring, and implementing new, enhanced, and upgraded applications for each of the twenty-five (25) ROW locations.
• Providing software engineering support, including, but not limited to, planning, analysis, design, modification, evaluation, testing, quality assurance, and project management for all current and new applications. This will include enhancements and corrections to the application's functionality.
• Working closely with other contractors to resolve issues between the applications.
• Providing image transfer from the electronic document management system in the compatible file format acceptable to other state agencies. Must lead the configuration, operation, and delivery of the replicated deliverables.
• Developing web-based and / or eGovernment applications to maintain and enhance the ROW website, as directed by ROW.
• Developing and leading in the design, installation, configuration, and operation of the disaster recovery site implementation replication process.
• Conducting performance measurements and analysis leading to recommendations for improving network performance.
• Conducting analysis, design, installation, configuration, and operation of the email software.
• Working in cooperation with the other contractors, ROW staff, and other state agencies.
• Troubleshooting existing code using standard practices.
• Participating in regular team planning meetings to receive tasks and provide status.
• Participating in monthly status meetings to include providing a monthly status.
