Supervisor, Corporate Facilities – Delta Dental of Michigan
Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana is a leading dental plan administrator committed to improving oral health and building vibrant communities. The Supervisor, Corporate Facilities is responsible for overseeing daily operations and maintenance of corporate facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance.

Okemos, MI – In-office
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and contractors, assign tasks, provide guidance, set priorities, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure all facilities are maintained in a safe and operational condition, conducting regular inspections and promptly addressing issues.
- Oversee scheduled and emergency maintenance of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security.
- Work with external contractors and vendors to ensure work meets required standards.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures, including maintaining an inventory of supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage the work-request system, ensuring prompt communication and completion of tasks.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and coordinate incident response.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Assist in the management of building construction projects.
Minimum Requirements
Associate's degree in facilities management or related field with three (3) years of experience in facilities or construction management.Preferred certifications from the International Facility Management Association or Building Owners Management Association.Strong understanding of facility-management policies, procedures, and practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage a team and coordinate with contractors and vendors.Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under general supervision with independent judgment.Proficiency in facility-management software and tools.Physical ability to lift, climb ladders, and perform tasks in varied environmental conditions.Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle as needed.Willingness to travel between office locations and work outside regular business hours to support projects and respond to building emergencies 24 / 7 / 365.Equal Employment Opportunity
