Director of Accounting

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting to lead a team and oversee financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of 15+ accounting professionals and ensure accurate financial reporting

Oversee month-end close processes and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies

Collaborate with leadership on process enhancements and lead strategic projects for optimization

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience

Experience with publicly traded companies or Big 4 public accounting

Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards

Experience ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance
