Hussey Copper is seeking an Environmental Specialist for our Eminence, KY location.

Job Summary :

Provide technical functions to achieve, maintain and document compliance with environmental regulatory requirements. Ensure that all related work is completed in compliance with Company, State, and Federal regulations.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Manages the operation of the facility's Wastewater Treatment System, including :

Calibration of control instrumentation.

Routine scheduling of waste removal.

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee frequently is required to walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Work is performed in an industrial setting with varying temperatures, loud noise and heavy activity.
