Position Summary :
Coordinates all education activities and hospital programs according to policies, procedures, philosophy and goals of the hospital and nursing services, as assigned by supervisor, including managing affiliated school student and clinical rotations . Functions as a role model and resource person. Facilitates and assesses participants of BLS and ACLS classes meeting AHA guidelines. Facilitates and assist s participants in courses scheduled on campus and off campus.
Flexible hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 a.m.-5 p.m., included, but not limited to nights, weekends and holiday coverage as assigned.
Education / Experience / Licensure / Technical / Other :
- Education : RN bachelor's degree in nursing required .
- Experience : Clinical Educator experience preferred , m inimum four years of clinical nursing experience
required, critical care and / or ED experience preferred.
Extremely proficient with computer skills, Microsoft outlook, excel, word and power point . Knowledge of Cerner EMR system strongly preferred.
Current State of Florida RN License required .
Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or the red Cross required .
