How You Will Make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX TAMCO is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. You will be an active member of the assembly team building dampers per job order tickers, blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, or sketches.

What You Can Expect in This Role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be :

• Safety
• Follow all safety rules
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and equipment
• Ensure proper and effective operation of equipment and tools. Report repairs and / or issues to team lead or supervisor
• Quality
• Ensure all parts and surfaces are free from defects
• Monitor quality of own work and immediately report defective material, unusual conditions, and / or operating difficulties to team lead or supervisor
• Perform light maintenance on tools, equipment, machines, and other devices used in the normal course of the work performed
• Delivery
• Able to read shop orders
• Cut aluminum extrusions to length
• Operate punch press
• Assemble dampers according to shop orders
• Daily documentation of work performed
• Culture
• Desire to do the right thing
• Team player, assisting other team members and departments as needed with other duties not routine to position
• Punctual, on time, ready to work, every day
