The Work itself :

World-Class Application Support

ProvideLevel 3production support for the EA suite of applications, ensuring adherence to SLAs.

Work in a24x7 rotationto monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in collaboration with cross-regional teams.

Partner with Development, QA, Product, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams to maintain service excellence.

Serve as asubject matter expertfor at least one business-critical EA application.

Automation & AI-Driven Operations

DevelopPython-based tools and scriptsfor monitoring, automation, and operational efficiency.

LeverageGenerative AI frameworks(OpenAI, Copilot, etc) for :

Automated troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Intelligent log analysis and anomaly detection.

Proactive system optimization and monitoring.

Advocate for and designnext-generation AI-powered operational support solutions.

Change & Release Management

Develop install plans, define release schedules, and execute production changesend-to-end.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, middleware, database) to ensure smooth deployments.

Ensure security vulnerabilities are remediated within required timelines.

Monitoring & Security

Develop, update, and maintainproduction monitoring solutions.

Partner with Cybersecurity to ensure compliance and threat mitigation.

Continuously improve operational procedures for efficiency and reliability.

Leadership & Knowledge Sharing

Coach and mentor peers intechnical skills and best practices.

Train external teams on new products and enhancements.

Maintain documentation for all products, enhancements, and patches.

Design and code systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing Visa's internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability

Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings

Actively contribute to product quality improvements, valuable service technology, and new business flows in diverse agile squads

Essential Functions :

Demonstrates relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements.

Identifies and contributes to the development and solution strategies to team members that improve the design and functionality of interface features across one or more project features, under minimal guidance.

Applies standard processes on the use of programming languages (e.g. HTML, C++, Java) to write code that fulfills website modification requests and technical requirements.

Collaborates with others to support the piloting of new technology capabilities and features that enhance the user website experience across e-commerce products.

Analyzes bugs for simple issues and applies debugging tools to verify assumptions.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 138,500.00 to 200,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
