Travel RN position available in a Med Surg unit.

The unit has a total of 26 beds.

Staff includes a charge nurse, RNs, patient care techs, and a unit clerk.

Night shift consists of a charge nurse, three RNs, and two patient care techs.

Patient ratios are estimated at 1 : 5.

Common equipment used includes lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, and EMR.

Typical procedures performed include TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacement, post-hysterectomy, and gallbladders / appys.

This unit emphasizes teamwork and support among staff members.
