Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity Level III NICU and PICU, providing critical care to neonates and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities :

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to neonate and pediatric patients in the NICU and PICU settings.

Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatments as necessary.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.

Educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and equipment use.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Qualifications :

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.

Active Illinois state license.

BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (AHA).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU / PICU respiratory therapy.

Proficiency in the use of respiratory equipment and monitoring systems.
