HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky.

  • Weekend Hours : Every other weekend
  • Call Requirements : None
  • Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH, KY License
  • Years of Experience : 2+
  • Float Requirements : Yes – Any Med Surg or PCU

Unit Information :

  • Number of Beds : 14
  • Patient Ratios : 4 : 1; 5 : 1 (& specialty teams w / TAVR, MitraClip or Watchman)
  • Equipment : Phillips Telemetry Monitors; Safeguards; FemStops; TR Bands; TVP
  • EMR : Cerner

    • Hiring Profile :

  • Must Have Skills / Experience : 2 Years Cardiac PCU experience, IV insertion, Telemetry / dysrhythmia / 12-lead EKG
  • Preferred Skillset / Experience : PCCN, Pre / Post Cath Lab, Sheath pull experience
  • Type of Patients on Unit : Cardiac Recovery

    • Cardiac experience (PCU) or Pre / Post Cath Lab experience; PACU alone will not be approved. THIS IS NOT PACU

  • Comfortable caring for a 4-5 intermediate patient team
