Description

Responsible for providing instruction and training to students in the Career Education Center. Develops individual achievement plans and academic goals to ensure student success. Works with CTT Instructors to integrate applied academics into curricula. Maintains confidentiality of student information.

Responsibilities

• Follow integrity guidelines and ensure accurate student data management.
• Meet or exceed performance goals set by DOL / Company.
• Provide academic training leading to GED / HSD completion, literacy, and numeracy skills improvement. Offer comprehensive case management to support student progress and program completion.
• Maintain an organized classroom environment. Enforce dress code and conduct standards.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of work and assignments.
• Maintain good attendance, accountability, and productivity standards.
• Plan and organize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Apply job knowledge effectively and update skills proactively.
• Mentor students according to Career Success Standards.
• Provide supervision and manage student behavior positively and respectfully.
• Deliver quality programs and services, seeking continual improvement.
• Communicate clearly and contribute to team efforts.
• Identify and analyze problems, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with staff across departments to support students.
• Follow directions from supervisors and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required; Master's preferred. Valid in-state teaching certificate or waiver required. Prior teaching or Job Corps experience is a plus.
