Remote Tech Risk & Control Sr Manager Qualifications :

8+ years of progressive experience in risk, control, or GRC, including demonstrable success managing and mentoring analysts while building and scaling a risk lifecycle from a low maturity level

Proven ability to implement and refine quantitative risk scoring and threat modeling methodologies, leveraging analysis to drive major program improvements and ensure risk-informed business decisions.

Exceptional track record of gaining buy-in from senior leadership by distilling complex technical risks into clear business tradeoffs, and successfully collaborating to roll out the risk framework across entities and geographies.

Deep subject matter expertise in managing control issues and inherent risks across evolving technologies (crypto, cloud, data lakes, machine learning), preferably gained within a high-growth FinTech or tech environment.

Demonstrated domain expertise gained within rapid-growth, technology-first financial platforms (e.g., neobanks, digital lending, payments, InsurTech, wealth management platforms, brokerages) or decentralized finance (DeFi) / digital asset firms.

CRISC, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or FAIR certification.
