We are seeking a senior level Business Continuity Planner to join our prime contract supporting mission assurance, resiliency, and continuity of government. Position requires an active TS / SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.
Required Skills :
- Assist in developing the program's COOP and ITDR Program planning documents and schedule.
- Assist with Business Process Analysis and Business Impact Analysis (BPA / BIA) efforts in identifying and standardizing the program's functional descriptions in support of BPA documentation.
- Evaluate customer's COOP plan and Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and provide recommendations on how it can be leveraged within the program's plans.
- Provide continuity expertise to support the program's System Engineering Team to incorporate COOP functionality and documentation in system designs and network builds, as appropriate.
- Provide support to the IT Disaster Recovery efforts in identifying IT assets, dependency analysis, critical infrastructure assessments and tracking of Availability Plan of Action and Milestones (POAandM) actions.
- Assist with development of the ITDR and Information Systems Contingency Plans (ISCP) test, training and exercise (TTandE) planning activities to support COOP exercises.
- Assist with drafting initial annual Availability Controls Review of ISCP.
- Review system Requests for Change (RFC) for implications to system availability / resiliency and provide a recommendation on the best course of action.
- Provide support to the customer's IT and business roadmaps by incorporating a distributed operations environment.
- Assist with aligning mission outcomes, program goals, and mission assurance activities to guide daily activities.
- Provide input into team's work breakdown structures to ensure tasks support the resiliency goals.
Qualifications :
Thirteen (13) years of experience in performing two (2) or more areas of Continuity of Government, Continuity of Operations, Business Continuity Planning, Crisis Management, Continuity Strategic Planning and Policy, Enterprise Risk Management and participation in national level homeland security or continuity of operational exercises.Three (3) of the thirteen (13) years must be supporting a deferral department / agency or Intelligence Community component continuity of operations exercises.Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Master's degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.Candidate without a degree or a degree in a non-related field will require seventeen (17) years of experience.Completion of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Continuity of Operations Excellence Series - Level 1 (Professional Continuity Practitioner) required.Certification through the Disaster Recovery Institute International or Business Continuity Institute (e.g., CBCP, CPSCP, MBCI) is required.The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
