JOB SUMMARY

Transfer and treat hazardous waste in the waste treatment system

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Transfer and treat wastewater.
• Operate / oversee / maintain wastewater treatment systems and hazardous waste storage areas.
• Maintain all associated paperwork / documentation.
• Collect, maintain and properly dispose of all waste / hazardous waste.
• Ensure proper labeling of hazardous waste (tanks and containers).
• Coordinate and complete chemical additions to the tanks as needed.
• Assist with any repairs that need to be made.
• Operate forklift to transport hazardous waste and chemicals.
• Ensure compliance with state & federal regulatory agencies (EPA, OSHA, OCSD, OC Health, DOT, DTSC, etc.)
• Adhere to safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :

ITAR REQUIREMENT :

Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
