A&P Mechanic Institute (formerly International AeroTech Academy) is now part of the Phoenix East Aviation family. This Part 147 AMT training school was begun in 2020 in Lakeland, FL as a quality institution dedicated to advancing the field of aviation maintenance through exceptional education and training. A&P Mechanic Institute is a growing organization that is part of the Phoenix East Aviation organization with three flight school locations in the state of Florida and one in Georgia.

Position Purpose
The Aircraft Mechanic Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive instruction in assigned courses, ensuring that students grasp both theoretical concepts and practical applications in aircraft maintenance. In addition to teaching, the instructor manages essential administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, assessing student performance, and collaborating with faculty to enhance the curriculum. This role is pivotal in fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes student success and prepares them for careers in the aviation industry.

What We Offer
The salary for this position ranges from $60,00.00 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. A $1,500 sign-on bonus, paid in three $500 installments following successful completion of 30, 60 and 90 days of employment.
