Administrative Assistant
Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support senior attorneys within our client's Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice. This role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional legal environment. The ideal candidate will have prior large law firm experience and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities :
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to assigned partners and legal teams.
- Manage busy calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel logistics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and gatekeeper for assigned attorneys.
- Draft, revise, and prepare legal correspondence, documents, and presentations.
- Track deal milestones, maintain detailed checklists, and monitor key deadlines.
- Liaise with finance, legal, and business development teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Assist with onboarding and integration efforts related to acquisitions.
- Enter attorney time, process expenses, and prepare client billing materials.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless coverage and departmental support.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree required.35 years of administrative experience in a law firm; M&A or corporate practice exposure preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Aderant is a plus.Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality.Proven track record of reliability and stable work history.Additional Details :
