Position Summary Information
Summary Provides administrative and facilitative support for the daily simulation-based learning activities and Learning Environment technical functions within the College of Nursing (CON) Learning Environment, under the direction of the Director of Simulation and Standardized Patient Program and Associate Dean of Learning Environment & Innovation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Collaborates in the development of simulation-based instructional and training components for faculty, students, and standardized patients.2. Engage in innovative initiatives to enhance learning experiences, including piloting new technologies, tools, and creative solutions.3. Prepares simulation equipment and other learning technologies to support learning activities.4. Manages the maintenance of simulation technology and equipment.5. Provides training and orientation of new simulation technicians.6. Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues within the learning environment, escalating complex issues to appropriate personnel.7. Stay current with emerging simulation and learning environment technologies, suggesting improvements or new opportunities for growth8. Maintains simulation equipment and departmental records.9. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This position is responsible for assigning work and/or giving direction to office staff and student workers, in order to complete work assignments.
