Healthcare Delivery Director
As a Healthcare Delivery Director, you will serve as a strategic consultant with a focus on healthcare delivery strategies aimed to improve the value and quality within employer health and group benefit plans. You will leverage your experience as a benefits and healthcare delivery expert to work collaboratively with client teams and make strategic recommendations on network strategy, plan design, alternative delivery models, and other innovative solutions. You will apply thought leadership and financial expertise to solve complex client problems and develop new intellectual capital.
The Role
- Communicates and delivers complex concepts and financial / actuarial / analytic results to effectively drive client action and improve plan performance
- Conducts analyses using WTW-developed tools and models to evaluate medical cost drivers and provider quality, as well as social and environmental risk factors within a client's population
- Develops intellectual capital through innovative ideas and expertise to improve analytic models, meet clients' needs, and generate revenue growth
- Builds and maintains knowledge of healthcare delivery market through relationships with vendor partners
- Provides subject matter expertise on healthcare delivery strategies to internal and external clients
- Partners with Client Service teams to provide guidance on strategies and deliverables that will meet the client's needs
- Provides consulting quality reviews and client delivery on projects
- Builds strong relationships internally and collaborates effectively on cross-functional teams
Qualifications
10+ years' experience and demonstrated success in the delivery of complex health and welfare strategies and analysis in a consulting or brokerage environment (a financial function of a health insurer or healthcare vendor also considered)Expert knowledge of health and welfare products and servicesDeep understanding and expertise in employee benefit plan design and funding conceptsProven ability to lead data analytic projectsProven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and produce quality deliverables on time and within budgetInterest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in health and welfare plan strategy and leading the development of new intellectual capitalProven ability to expand relationships with clients, vendors, and internal collaboratorsPolished and well developed written and verbal communication skillsSuperior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organizationExcellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPointExperience with Tableau is beneficialState Life and Health license required within 90 days of joiningCompletion of health actuarial designation (optional)Company Benefits
