EXTENSION SUPPORT COACH

Reports to : Administrative Team (Principal / Assistant Principal)

Purpose : The Extension Support Coach designs, implements, and supports standards-aligned extension and enrichment activities for high-achieving students across grade levels. This role works closely with classroom teachers and the AIG Lead Teacher to enhance learning opportunities that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic rigor.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (required); teaching certification
• Experience in engaging, building, and maintaining relationships with students and staff.
• Experience in providing supports with enrichment and extension
• Ability to provide supports to
• Experience working with gifted or high-achieving
• Strong instructional skills and the ability to differentiate
• Excellent communication and collaboration
• Flexible, innovative, and passionate about fostering student

Major Duties and Responsibilities. :

1 : DOK (Depth of Knowledge) Level 2 and 3 questioning

2 : Error analysis

3 : Higher-order thinking and problem-solving techniques

Term of Employment : Part-time, 10 months
