Job Details

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct regular inspections of machines, equipment, and systems to monitor operating efficiency and detect malfunctions.
  • Execute preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery including electrical systems, HVAC units, boilers, and manufacturing units.
  • Install, dismantle, and relocate heavy machinery and equipment according to plans.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, gas and arc welders, and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test systems, and technical publications.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and maintain maintenance logs.
  • Work closely with the operations team to understand their machinery needs and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

    • Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, boiler, hand tools, manufacturing, installation, dismantling, industrial equipment, industrial machines, preventative maintenance, gas welder, arc welder, and forklift.
  • A deep understanding of industrial systems and the ability to read and understand complex technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Certification or degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
