Showstoppers, formerly Screamers Family Restaurant, is casting for a bold, creative, and hands-on Executive Chef to lead the kitchen as we transition to our brand-new location in Lincoln’s Telegraph District. This is not a back-office role — it’s a working chef position with your name on the menu (figuratively… unless you're into that).

What’s the gig?

• Take the lead on a brand-new culinary direction as we expand into lunch and weekend brunch service.
• Work closely with ownership to shape a vibrant menu that complements our live music + theatrical dining experience.
• Lead, train, and inspire a small kitchen team to execute consistent, high-quality dishes — even while the spotlight is on.

Who you are:

• A seasoned working chef with strong line skills, leadership chops, and a passion for culinary creativity.
• You thrive in high-energy environments and don’t mind wearing many hats (preferably not all toques).
• You’re excited by the chance to leave your mark on a unique, growing brand.

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience in brunch/lunch menu development
• Have worked in entertainment-driven dining or high-guest-interaction environments
• Like being part of something bigger than just turning tickets
