• Performs technical research as required.
• Understand and refine requirements for platforms to be used in embedded streaming media and network related projects.
• Analyze customer and internal requirements and specifications and translate these into software designs.
• Provide high quality object-oriented software e.g. frameworks, libraries and related tools in terms of usability, efficiency, stability and testability.
• Code the software designs following software industry processes and object-oriented and embedded software industry best practices.
• Analyze existing object-oriented, embedded software to add features, make modifications, and / or port to different platforms.
• Communicate with peers inside and outside of company to coordinate software development.
