Mesa seeks a talented, detail oriented, hard working drafter / designer / 3D Modeler. The successful candidate will perform 3D and 2D drafting in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Inventor. Experience in these software suites is preferred but not required. The superior candidate will be a self starter that loves to learn new CAD software and takes ownership and pride in producing high quality, error free CAD work.

This position involves the preparation of design drawings such as : general arrangements, equipment plans, elevations, sections, control house layouts, grounding plan, conduit and cable plan, bills of material, cable schedules for medium and high voltage substations using AutoCAD, Inventor, P4I, Revit, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office software tools. The position requires working with others in a collaborative team environment as well as a possible small amount of travel. Experience in Inventor or Solidworks preferred. SDS Smart Tools is a plus.

Education / Experience :

• Two year associates degree in engineering technology or drafting is preferred.
• Candidates with Drafting Certificates will also be considered.
• Specific applicable experience(5 years or more) with the software listed above may also be considered in lieu of degree / certificates.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred but not required.
