Job descriptionOversee APP fellowship, research, and QI projects. Participate in hospital-wide initiatives. Personnel Management : Manage hiring, onboarding, and training of new APPs. Address corrective actions as needed. Scheduling & Operations : Manage sick calls & ensure patient care coverage. Coordinate PA student placements. Education & Compliance : Attend & contribute to division meetings. Leadership : Ability to influence change & foster team growth. Proactive in identifying & pursuing opportunities. Communication : Interpersonal : Clinical Knowledge : Confidentiality : Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience.

About the Role :
As the Lead APP, you'll play a vital role in optimizing our APP team's contribution to our Neurosurgery division. You'll focus on strategic planning, personnel management, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership :
Partner with Division Chair & Executive Director on divisional goals.
Conduct performance evaluations & provide mentorship.
Create APP schedules & track time off.
Facilitate APP education on billing & coding.
Skills & Qualifications :
Strong clinical skills & ability to lead by example.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams & patients.
Strong understanding of clinical procedures & protocols.
Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
