Electrical Project Manager - Help Build What's Next

We're hiring an Electrical Project Manager to lead multiple commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is a high-visibility role with real ownership-ideal for a builder who loves turning plans into performance and wants a voice in growing and shaping our electrical construction segment .

Position Requirements
What You'll Do
- Own project delivery for multiple commercial jobsites-scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality-from precon to closeout.
- Control the numbers : manage budgets and WIP, review project cost worksheets, drive billings, and reconcile budget vs. actuals .
- Drive preconstruction : coordinate permits, submittals, design clarifications, O&M manuals, and change orders; anticipate issues early.
- Coordinate in the field : attend jobsite meetings, conduct site walks, and remove roadblocks before installation begins.
- Procure smart : plan material / equipment buys, align deliveries to schedule, and support foremen with accurate ordering.
- Lead people : mentor foremen and field teams; deliver feedback and annual reviews; partner with HR on performance coaching as needed.
- Champion safety & quality : conduct jobsite reviews / audits, follow up on safety findings with GCs and our Safety Director, and close the loop.
- Collaborate across trades : work closely with our Plumbing, Fire Protection, and HVAC teams to keep timelines aligned and quality consistent.
- Be the face of DJ : build durable relationships with GCs, vendors, and key contractors; resolve escalations with urgency and professionalism.
- Improve the playbook : suggest better methods, standardize best practices, and help forecast, man-load, and budget with the Electrical Director.
What You Bring
2+ years of commercial electrical construction project management or field leadership experience (PM, APM, Foreman, or similar).Proven ability to manage budget, schedule, change orders, submittals / RFIs, and billing workflows.Strong communication and relationship skills-comfortable with GCs, vendors, foremen, and internal teams.Organized, proactive, and calm under pressure; able to juggle multiple jobsites and priorities.Tech-savvy : Microsoft Office (Excel / Teams / Outlook) plus familiarity with Sage 100 (Master Builder) and Bluebeam .Valid driver's license and ability to visit active jobsites.Education : AA / AS or BS in Construction Management / related field preferred (or equivalent experience).Nice to Have
Experience mentoring crews and conducting performance reviews.Estimating exposure and / or assisting precon teams.Trade license (e.g., Journeyman / Master Electrician) is a plus.How We Work (and Grow)
