JOB DESCRIPTION : INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT

DEPARTMENT : Information Technology (IT)

CLASSIFICATION : Exempt

REPORTS TO : SEVP, COO

SUPERVISES : No supervisory responsibility

JOB SUMMARY : Provides end-user support for network applications and Springs Valley employees.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computers and related systems.
• Day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems, software, and hardware.
• Installs, configures, and troubleshoots desktop systems.
• Maintains data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment.
• Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements.
• Recommends hardware and software solutions.
• Provide technical support to employees via telephone, eMail, or remote assistance.
• Monitor Windows Update via WSUS, 3rd Party Patching, and physical verification.
• Assist IT Manger with imaging, hardware / software installation / troubleshooting and basic network troubleshooting.
