Relocation From Bay Area)

Ixana offers relocation packages and visa transfers (if required) for engineers relocating from the San Francisco Bay Area and other U.S. hubs.

What You’ll Own

Bare‑metal bring‑up of next‑gen Wi‑R transceivers and SoCs on Cortex‑M / RISC‑V MCUs.

Real‑time drivers & architecture for I²C, SPI, BLE, DMA, sensors and power domains.

Ship a reference firmware SDK that Tier‑1 consumer brands will use.

The Experience We’re After

5+ years building production firmware for wearables, medical or IoT hardware.

Proven track record squeezing microwatts out of Cortex‑M or other MCU.

Comfortable leading code reviews, tool‑chain decisions and mentoring junior talent.

Bonus : RTOS, BLE stack surgery, PCB layout literacy or neural / biometric sensing.

Compensation Transparency

Cost‑of‑living kicker : San Francisco is ≈ 170% more expensive than West Lafayette; the same lifestyle would require ≈ $300 k – $405 k in the Bay Area BestPlaces (Including typical mortgage & tax costs).

Without housing, $115 k – $150 k in West Lafayette buys the same lifestyle as roughly $230 k – $290 k in the Bay Area.
