At Razor Technology, we believe technology should empower business - secure, scalable, and seamless. As a Managed Services Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that vision becomes reality for our customers every day.
This role blends technical depth with customer interaction - supporting a variety of client environments, onboarding new customers, performing system installations and upgrades, and maintaining stable, secure, and high-performing infrastructures. You'll manage and support a wide range of technologies across servers, networking, cloud platforms, and end-user systems.
Working closely with our Managed Services leadership, Project Managers, and customer teams, you'll be at the center of delivering consistent, high-quality service experiences that keep our clients running efficiently and securely.
What You'll Do
Client Onboarding & Implementation
- Lead or assist in onboarding new managed services customers, including environment discovery, documentation, and standardization.
- Deploy and configure infrastructure components such as servers, storage, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and endpoint management tools.
- Establish monitoring, backup, and patch management standards for each client.
Systems Management & Support
Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.Perform regular system updates, upgrades, and patching across servers, endpoints, and network devices.Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents related to networking, security, and application performance.Manage network configurations (VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching) and ensure connectivity and uptime.Provide Tier 2-3 support for end-user issues, coordinating escalation when required.Monitoring, Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Use tools like Auvik and RMM to monitor system health, capacity, and performance.Review alerts and automate responses to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.Participate in quarterly customer reviews to identify opportunities for optimization and proactive maintenance.Contribute to Razor's knowledge base, documentation, and best practice library.Collaboration & Service Delivery
Work cross-functionally with the Network Operations Center (NOC), Project Management, and Security teams to maintain service quality.Support internal process improvement initiatives that enhance onboarding speed, incident resolution, and customer satisfaction.Communicate clearly with customers about issues, resolutions, and recommendations - acting as a trusted technical resource.What We're Looking For
5-8 years of experience in Managed Services, Systems Engineering, or Network Administration supporting multiple client environments.Proficiency with :Microsoft technologies : Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure.
Networking : Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet (firewalls, switches, wireless, VPNs).Virtualization and storage : VMware, Nutanix, or similar platforms.Backup, patching, and monitoring tools.Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across both server and network layers.Excellent communication and customer service orientation - comfortable supporting non-technical users.Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft (MCSA / MCSE), or CompTIA Network+ / Security+ preferred.
