Seattle Nursing Job Details Location : Seattle, WA 98122 Assignment Type : Travel RN Unit : CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit) Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : March 2, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 12-hour nights (19 : 00 - 07 : 30), 3 shifts / week Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1910-$2050 Staffing Ratio : 1 : 1-2 Scrubs : Navy blue Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2.5 years of recent CVICU nursing experience (within last 6 months) Proficiency with IABP, open heart recovery, and CRRT required Cardiac surgical nursing experience required Active RN license (Washington or Compact State) Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CRRT Prismaflex Epic charting system experience preferred Ability to float to neuro stepdown, cardiac stepdown, neuro critical care, and sister hospitals Strong clinical skills in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and advanced cardiac procedures First-time travel nurses with strong CVICU background encouraged to apply CVICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, including pre- and post-cardiac surgery Manage advanced cardiac devices and procedures : CABG, OHS, AAA, valvular repairs, IABP, Impella, VADs, pacemakers, epicardial pacing, CRRT / dialysis, ECMO Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring, 12-lead EKGs, and manage ventilators and respiratory support equipment Administer blood products, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and provide procedural sedation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams Float to other critical care units as needed Maintain strict infection prevention and isolation protocols Document patient care accurately using Epic charting system Ready to take your nursing career to the next level in Seattle?
