About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum years of experience required, charging experience preferred.

License : VA or compact license required.

Certifications : BLS and ACLS required.

Must-Have : Scrub experience strongly preferred.

Description :

Cath Lab RN with experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures is required.

The position includes working 4x10 hour days from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM.

Call responsibilities include 7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts every 6 weeks with a 30-minute call back time.

The RN will assist with diagnostic catheterizations, coronary interventions, IABP placement and removal, and other cardiac procedures.

Experience with Impella insertion, TAVR, and Watchman procedures is preferred.

Understanding of Epic charting systems is beneficial but not mandatory.

The RN will work with a patient demographic that includes young, middle, and older adults.

The daily patient census varies from 15 to 20 with diagnostic procedures being the primary focus.

Knowledge of infection prevention, procedural sedation administration, and management of dysrhythmias is required.

The role supports interdisciplinary care including respiratory services and pharmacy.

This position may involve working with specialized equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pumps and Impella devices.
