Order Entry Specialist

As an Order Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless processing of customer orders and inquiries. You will be responsible for managing orders, coordinating shipments, and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Enter orders placed by customers and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Track orders through SAP and communicate any issues or information between sales representatives, manufacturing personnel, and customers.
  • Generate deliveries and coordinate with the warehouse for shipments, ensuring that large orders are palletized and planned accordingly.
  • Interact with customers to provide information about products and services.
  • Manage complex territories and may solicit the sale of new products.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or technical degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of related experience in order entry / customer service, preferably in a call center setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with SAP is a significant advantage.
  • Experience working with a CRM, preferably Salesforce.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage complex territories effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with both internal and external customers.
  • Work Environment

    This role is based in a call center environment. Training hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, for approximately 6-8 weeks. Post-training, the shift hours will be either 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM or 9 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM, with a half-hour lunch break. The work schedule includes remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and on-site attendance from Tuesday to Thursday. You will work closely with a trainer during the initial training period.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 / hr.
