Job Title

SharePoint Developer

Duties / Day to Day Overview

  • SharePoint Framework Development
  • Enhancements SharePoint Online
  • Coding and Creating Functionalities in SharePoint Portal

Not interacting with customers or other groups within the company. Mostly going to be heads-down development work

Top Requirements

(Must haves)

  • SharePoint Framework Development with React Framework
  • Senior Resource minimum 5-7 years
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SharePoint Framework
  • SharePoint Framework 60%, React Framework and .Net 40%
  • SharePoint Framework

    • Enhancements

    SharePoint Framework

    Add Ons

  • Extensions
  • Basic to Complex

    • Integrations, Logic

  • Will be writing code
  • .Net

    • Need to be very strong .Net

  • Latest versions of .Net (Ross is on 4.8)
  • Development

    • It's already developed, we need to upgrade it

  • Emphasis on security
  • Modernizing Applications might need to rewrite from the old Visio studio
  • Microservices is already integrated 3-4 already integrated in the application
  • Need to follow the new Microsoft requirements and enhancements, especially around security
  • Syncing data from on prem to cloud

    • Gathering data from 4-5 external resources / applications

  • How does the data integrate in the different applications?
  • React Framework

    • Building and Enhancing (coding and creating functionalities) for SharePoint

    About 10 need Enhancements (required by Microsoft)

  • About 6 need NEW Development

    • Additional Qualifications

    (Nice to Haves)

  • SharePoint Online should be the main technologies they have experience with

    • Other technologies are nice to have
