IT Business Systems Analyst contractor

Roles / Responsibilities :

• Manage, migrate, and update SQL databases, including creating relationships, indexes, keys, and handling backend data operations.
• Understand and migrate legacy Microsoft Access databases, including front-end forms and back-end updates.
• Handle large datasets for cleaning and transformation, removing duplicates, normalizing data, and integrating across systems.
• Optionally work with Adobe Forms as a replacement for Wufoo.
• Automate data flows from forms to databases or dashboards using Power Automate or equivalent.
• Gather requirements, document workflows, and create functional specifications.
• Identify inefficiencies in manual processes and design automated, streamlined solutions.
• Translate operational needs into actionable KPIs, metrics, and visualizations.
• Debug slow or failing systems and track down data issues across multiple sources.
• Work closely with departments such as Operations, Accounting, Properties, TSA, Concessions, CMMS, Airside, IT, and external vendors.
• Explain technical solutions in non-technical language to end-users.
• Coordinate with external consultants and vendors for system implementation.
• Understand and handle restricted or sensitive data (e.g., airport security, TSA data) in compliance with security protocols.
