Qualifications : Valid Drivers License and insurable by our company insurance providerExperience leading a crew of 3 or more groundskeepers or landscapers, ensuring they are trained and can operate commercial equipment safelyRegistered technician certificationAbility to operate a zero-turn and / or standing mowerProficiency in using a blower and string trimmer5 years of commercial maintenance lawn care experienceProficiency in EnglishMust be 18 years or olderAbility to lift 25 50 poundsPreferences : Ability to stand for long periodsExperience driving a truck and trailerSnow plowing experiencePlease note that only applicants who meet the basic qualifications will be considered for an interview.Key Responsibilities :  Lead and supervise a team of Groundskeepers, providing guidance and support. Assign tasks and ensure that all team members understand their responsibilities. Operate lawn mowers and other heavy machinery to mow grass and maintain landscapes. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls. Proven experience tracking estimating and actual hours then meeting the goalsRemove debris and ensure the cleanliness of the grounds. Monitor the health of plants and grass, reporting any issues to management. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, address concerns, and provide training. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction. Assist with other landscaping tasks as needed.  Compensation :   Competitive Pay Opportunities for advancement  Paid Training & Development Company-sponsored events and team-building activities     About Greene Thumb Landscape :   Greene Thumb Landscape is an Indianapolis-based landscaping company that specializes in commercial and residential services.
