The Floater must be willing to travel to all three locations and be "on call" for vacant shifts up to 12 hours.

  • Shift :  This is a true PRN, (as needed) position.

CNA / Caregiver Job Summary : The position of CNA / Caregiver Float is to provide caring assistance with personal hygiene care, safe and healthy environment and wound care if necessary to clients as assigned and to be available to cover shifts when the Caregiver is on vacation, sick or for non-assigned new clients. The PRN Facility Float schedules are intermittent visits provided to the client according to the client’s care plan. The PRN Facility Floater must be willing to work in homes with pets and / or smokers and have valid driver's license and their own personal, reliable vehicle with full coverage auto insurance.

Employee Education Program (CNA, L1MA, Insulin Certification, CPR and Recertification classes)

CNA / Caregiver Requirements :

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have valid Driver's License, your own reliable transportation and vehicle insurance

Must have at least one year of professional caregiver experience preferably with the geriatric population

Must be able to work with pets and smokers in client homes

Must possess moderate computer skills, including word processing and data entry

Must be a self-starter able to work with minimal supervision

Must be a “team player” dedicated to providing a high level of customer service, with a positive attitude

Must be able to communicate effectively and possess well-developed interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills

Must maintain required yearly training / education as mandated by agency

Preferred Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma / GED;
  • Has the ability to be well organized and prioritize effectively;
  • CNA preferred, but not necessary;

    Physical Requirements :

    Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary :

    Ability to participate in physical activity.

    Ability to work for extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.

    Moderate lifting, 20-40 pounds.

    Ability to do extensive bending, lifting and standing on a regular basis.
