Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in both commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire protection systems and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Install fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local building codes
Troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler systems and related components
Perform inspections and functional tests to ensure system reliability
Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine installation requirements
Communicate effectively with clients and address inquiries regarding fire protection systems

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Proven experience in fire sprinkler installation and maintenance

Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards

NICET certification is a plus

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to climb scaffolding, stairs, and ladders; perform physical tasks such as standing, stooping, bending, and lifting
