We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join our Residential Living team!

The Director of Wellness & Resident Life will play a key role in fostering a vibrant, healthy, and engaged lifestyle for our residential living residents. They will be responsible for creating and managing a broad range of programs that support residents’ physical fitness, emotional well-being, social connection, and lifelong learning. They will also be part of Tel Hai's Management Team and provide oversight to our Aquatics program, Volunteer Services, Residential Living Physical Wellness, and Life Enrichment Coordinator.

Director of Wellness & Resident Life responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Oversees, and partners in creating, the Residential Living Wellness Program to develop and maintain a positive living environment that promotes quality resident experiences and vibrant living.
• Develops programming that supports dimensions of wellness to include physical, emotional, social, intellectual, vocational, environmental, spiritual, and financial.
• Provides wellness opportunities to the greater community.
• Facilitates coordinated events with Wellness teams in other levels of care.
• Supervises four direct reports representing Physical Wellness, Aquatics, Volunteer Services, and Life Enrichment.
• Leads various committees related to community engagement and resident life.
• Assists in developing and managing annual budget.
• Maintains Residential Living / Wellness policies and procedures.
• Provides oversight to Volunteer Services program and strategic development of additional opportunities.
• Responsible for hiring and training new team members, completing evaluations, and providing ongoing guidance and leadership to their team.
• Occasional Manager on Call responsibilities.
