Transportation Associate

Job Summary

The Transportation Associate is responsible for the transportation of materials, vehicle operation / inspection, and other duties.

Primary Duties

• Transporting materials to and from facilities
• Load / unload truck
• Inspect truck and follow all safety protocols for vehicle inspection
• Learn & follow detailed work instructions
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties that may be outside of assigned priorities listed below
• Operate forklift to load and unload parts off trucks
• Use tow motor and identify core locations
• Pulls pick ticket orders
• Identify and sort incoming product and takes bins from sorting stations and scans to appropriate locations
• Store parts in designated location
• Pull parts needed for production and ship to main plant
• Enter data into and review information in CMS as needed
• Participate in various improvement activities
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Working Conditions : Noise level is usually moderate. Warehouse temperature may reach up to 90 degrees during Summer months.
