POSITION SUMMARY
Success Education Colleges is seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to manage and support our Microsoft cloud infrastructure, Cisco network equipment, and Avaya phone systems. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IT systems across multiple campuses. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, and other Microsoft 365 cloud services, as well as knowledge in networking, telephony systems, and email security platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Microsoft Cloud Systems Management
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Entra ID, including user provisioning, group policies, and conditional access.
- Manage Microsoft Intune for device compliance, application deployment, and endpoint security.
- Support and optimize Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Monitor system performance and implement best practices for cloud security and identity management.
- Network Infrastructure
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot switches and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
- Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis.
- Implement and manage VLANs and wireless networks across multiple campus locations.
- Ensure network security through access controls, patch management, and firmware updates.
- Telephony Systems
- Administer and support phone systems, including user extensions, voicemail, and call routing.
- Troubleshoot VoIP issues and coordinate with vendors for escalated support.
- Maintain documentation of telephony infrastructure and configurations.
- Security and Awareness
- Manage phishing simulations and analyze results to improve user awareness.
- Administer email security policies and threat detection as needed.
- General IT Support & Projects
- Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts.
- Provide Tier 2 / 3 support for escalated technical issues.
- Maintain system documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in a System Administrator or similar role.Proficiency with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft 365 administration.Experience in networking.Experience managing VoIP systems.Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance standards.Relevant Cisco and / or Microsoft certifications are a plus
