Yard Associate

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Associate to join our client's team. This position is responsible for accurately picking orders of stone, mortar, brick, and tile, and safely loading materials onto skids for delivery to various job sites. The Yard Associate plays a key role in ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and prepared for transport in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities :

• Load / unload and process incoming stock and returned materials efficiently.
• Deliver small orders to job sites and perform pickups using company flatbed pickup trucks.
• Operate forklifts for material handling (prior experience preferred but not required).
• Maintain warehouse areas, including organizing products, sweeping, garbage disposal, and occasional lawn maintenance.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and packing slips.
• Always adhere to safety and industry guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees.
• Meet attendance requirements reliably.
