Position Description
Our client has an opening for a Senior Product Analyst (Workday HCM) within their Business Solutions Team. Working closely with the leaders of People Technology, you will be a key member of the Workday project team focused on delivering an exceptional end-user experience. You will also work across departments and geographies, interacting with partners in People, Payroll, IT, Finance, and international offices. Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Help the team ensure data accuracy and seamless ongoing enhancements of new Workday features / functionality.
- Lead all phases of the Workday configuration lifecycle : gathering business requirements, designing solutions, configuring the system, supporting testing, and driving adoption.
- Understand business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of testing systems, and assist the business in testing the Workday solutions.
- Gather configuration requirements and problem solve with business stakeholders.
- Provide subject matter expertise of Workday Benefits and Core HR and limitations.
- Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM and Benefits, including annual events such as Open Enrollment, ACA, etc. as needed.
- Provide knowledge of current Core HR business processes and systems and identify configuration, data, and system requirements to support future state business processes.
- Develop and deploy projects affecting Benefits and HCM modules while considering downstream possible effects for recruiting and payroll systems.
- Assist with broadening internal knowledge of Workday configuration through hands‑on training to cross‑functional teams.
- Act as a proactive interface between business partner groups and the Workday team to ensure effective coordination and delivery of implementations.
- Build reports to support domestic and international needs for various areas of the Workday product.
- Problem‑solve and propose multiple solutions for business requirements within Workday.
- Manage Workday upgrades and implement new and revised functionality.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, supporting teammates and improving tools / processes for knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, and Report-as-a-Service (RaaS).
Required Skills
7+ years of Workday overall HCM experience.4+ years configuring and supporting Workday Benefits and HR Core.Proficiency in Workday HCM with knowledge of Benefits, Security Administration, Business Process Configuration, and Report Writer.Hands‑on experience developing and enhancing custom reports and dashboards in Workday.Ability to work in a diverse, fast‑paced environment and collaborate across teams.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business‑friendly language.Preferred Skills
Experience with other Workday areas such as Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Talent, Payroll.Workday Integrations experience.Experience with EIBs.E‑Verify
