Overview :

The Talent Recruiter plays a critical role in ensuring that the school attracts, hires, and retains high-quality educators and staff who are aligned with the school’s mission and values. This role focuses on developing strong candidate pipelines, managing the full recruitment cycle, and collaborating closely with school leaders to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently and strategically.

Responsibilities :

Talent Acquisition & Sourcing

Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified teachers, school leaders, and operations staff.

Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through active sourcing, networking, and partnerships with universities, certification programs, and professional organizations.

Post job openings on relevant job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.

Attend job fairs, recruitment events, and community outreach programs to promote the school’s brand and career opportunities.

Leverage data to identify high-impact sourcing channels and refine recruitment strategies.

2. Candidate Management

Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from application review to offer acceptance.

Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and school leaders.

Ensure an efficient and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Maintain consistent communication with candidates, providing timely updates and feedback.

Track candidate progress in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure data accuracy.

3. Collaboration with Hiring Managers

Partner with principals, department heads, and senior leadership to identify staffing needs and ideal candidate profiles.

Provide coaching and support to hiring managers on best practices for interviewing, selection, and candidate evaluation.

Collaborate with HR and school operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new hires.

4. Employer Branding & Marketing

Promote the school’s mission, culture, and values through recruitment campaigns and digital content.

Develop marketing materials that highlight employee benefits, success stories, and growth opportunities.

Manage the school’s online presence across job boards and social media platforms to strengthen the employer brand.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Live in Charlotte, Atlanta, or Charleston
  • Previous experience in marketing, promotions, or related fields is a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
